What Gluten-Free Actually Means Here

Aug 21, 2026 · 1 min read

A gluten-free label is easy to print and hard to earn. We'd rather be exact about it than generous with it.

All four of our brownies are genuinely gluten-free. So is The Dozen, built entirely from those four. Two of our barks — Wild Harvest and Magpie's Field — are confirmed gluten-free as well, made on dedicated equipment with a proper clean-down between batches. That's not a "made without gluten ingredients" claim. It's an outright one.

Two barks aren't gluten-free: Morning Rush, because of the cornflakes, and Friction, because of the Marie biscuit. Neither pretends otherwise. And The Full House, which contains both of those barks, isn't fully gluten-free either — even though its brownie components are.

If a box contains any of those two barks, gluten-free isn't the word we'll use for it. Gluten-free. And we mean it.
